Last week Wilson Benesch welcomed our Chinese distributors Richcoln Ltd. to Sheffield for a tour of the Wilson Benesch headquarters. CEO Thomas Yu was joined by his assistants Michael Chan and Johnny Au, plus two dealers Mr X.H. Wang and Mr G.Y. Jiang. We are extremely grateful to Adrian Allen O.B.E. who took time out of his busy schedule to personally co-ordinate the tour for our group. Commercial Director and a key protagonist behind the concept of the A.M.P. Advanced Manufacturing Park Adrian Allen O.B.E. has worked tirelessly to attract the funding and put in place the foundations of a park that is growing at an alarming pace in order to keep up with demand.
The two day tour included the Wilson Benesch headquarters, but also afforded us the opportunity to show some of the collaborative research projects Wilson Benesch is undertaking with the Advanced Manufacturing & Research Center and Advanced Composites Research on the A.M.P.
We are also extremely grateful to James Hunt of Sheffield University for providing a fascinating insight into advanced highly optimised components produced in titanium that the company is developing.
