Wilson Benesch at the Guangzhou High-End International Audio Show 2024: GMT® One System ASIA Launch
Last weekend, Wilson Benesch had the privilege of participating in the Guangzhou High-End International Audio Show, one of Asia’s premier events for audiophiles and music enthusiasts. Held across three vibrant days—Friday to Sunday—the show was bustling with activity, with the exhibition space packed wall to wall each day, as seen in the images we will share with the blog. The event provided an exceptional platform to showcase cutting-edge audio innovations and connect with enthusiasts and industry professionals alike.
Representing Wilson Benesch were Craig Milnes, our Design Director, and Luke Milnes, our International Sales Director, who travelled to Guangzhou to support our esteemed business partners in China, Purist Audio. For Purist Audio and Wilson Benesch, Guangzhou marked an important and exciting milestone as the two partners presented the new GMT One System and its industry-leading analogue technologies to the Asian public for the first time.
At the heart of our exhibit was the GMT® One System, showcased alongside our flagship Eminence Loudspeaker and two IGX Infrasonic Generators. This combination allowed us to demonstrate the full performance potential of this groundbreaking new system. Each product in the GMT® Collection has been meticulously optimized with one goal in mind: the accurate transcription of a vinyl groove. The GMT® One System and the entire GMT® Collection exemplify Wilson Benesch’s unwavering dedication, focus, and commitment to developing cutting-edge audio technologies. Over nearly 15 years, Wilson Benesch has meticulously crafted the GMT® Collection to set new benchmarks in performance and state-of-the-art technology. This collection includes the GMT® One System Turntable, the Graviton® Ti Armwand, the Tessellate Ti Cartridge, the R1 HIFI Rack, the OMEGA Drive, the ALPHA Drive, and the Piezo VTA System. We were also thrilled to have Andy Lam of Fung Hang Record Ltd Hong Kong join us at the event. Andy brought a stunning collection of ultra-high-quality vinyl, which further enriched the experience for attendees. Each carefully selected record demonstrated the full potential of the GMT® Collection, offering listeners a captivating and immersive encounter with analogue audio.
Throughout the event, the Wilson Benesch and Purist Audio exhibit attracted considerable attention from attendees, industry experts, and media representatives. The response to the GMT® Collection was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing admiration for the innovative design and technical prowess that define Wilson Benesch products.
