Wilson Benesch Announces the European Launch of the Greenwich Turntable at Vienna HIGH END 2026

Wilson Benesch, Sheffield, England, is proud to announce the European launch of the Greenwich Turntable at the inaugural Vienna HIGH END 2026 exhibition. Following the first preview of Greenwich in the UK at AudioShow Deluxe, Wilson Benesch will use Vienna to present to a global audience, for the first time, its new entry model into the multi-award-winning GMT® Collection.
Greenwich arrives following an extraordinary period of international critical acclaim for the Wilson Benesch GMT® Collection, with the platform receiving multiple major industry accolades including The Absolute Sound Product of the Year Awards in both 2025 and 2026, alongside The Absolute Sound Technology of the Year Award.
The GMT® One Turntable established the ALPHA–OMEGA platform as the foundation of Wilson Benesch’s reference analogue architecture, introducing the company’s OMEGA Direct Drive and ALPHA Drive control technologies. Prime Meridian followed as the central platform within the GMT® Collection, introducing a distinct structural and damping architecture whilst preserving the same core drive technologies.
Greenwich now extends the ALPHA–OMEGA platform into a new format, maintaining the same fundamental drive technologies within a more accessible and compact system architecture.
At the heart of Greenwich is the Wilson Benesch OMEGA Drive — a patent-pending 15-inch slot-less synchronous motor employing a circumjacent radial force architecture. Operating with a low-torque, zero-cogging topology, the OMEGA Drive delivers exceptional rotational accuracy, mechanical stability and ultra-low noise performance.
