This image was selected for many reasons. First and foremost because Sandie Shaw was and still is one Britains most successful singers, who has often challenged the instititutions that have tried to confine her. After coming second in a talent contest, she appeared on a line up that included Adam Faith. Faith was so impressed that he introduced her to his manager. A chance start to an eventful and highly succesful career.
The Square floor and square check trousers that she is wearing in this image, lend themselves perfectly to the launch of the company’s first Square loudspeaker.
