Having landed back in the UK, this years TIAS show report arrives a little later than last years and also from the more grounded surrounds of the bustling Wilson Benesch HQ. It is a fine thing to arrive back in a warm and sunny autumnal South Yorkshire, from another vintage audio show and find a fleet of new CNC machines working flat out to produce parts for the new loudspeaker that you have just launched on the other side of the planet. The Endeavour has barely begun it’s voyage and it is already a huge success for the company.
But I digress, the Tokyo International Audio Show 2014 has been a highly rewarding and enjoyable experience. Following the relaunch of the brand in Japan last year with the Cardinal, Wilson Benesch returned this year with both the Cardinal and the new Endeavour loudspeaker placed proudly at either end of one large exhibition room.
The Cardinal and the Endeavour were not in short supply of reference quality audio electronics. Partnered on one side by the world class electronics of CH Precision and on the other by another set of class leading electronics in Constellation Audio. The results were, as one might expect, nothing short of astounding. Stella Inc. has a long history for importing some of the finest audio products from around the globe and have a vast amount of experience to put together highly professional audio demonstrations that run like clockwork. And the Endeavour did not disappoint. Each presentation from company directors Christina and Craig Milnes filled every seat and the feedback was very warm and positive.
Wilson Benesch would like to extend our gratitude to all the team at Stella Inc. and Zephyrn and to each of those who attended the show and came to see us.
