Wilson Benesch Geometry Series Launch Report Two

Wilson Benesch Geometry SeriesWilson Benesch launch new product pages for Vertex and Vector

Today Wilson Benesch unveil the latest evolutionary designs from the development path that began in 1995 with the radical A.C.T. One Loudspeaker. As you will see the Geometry Series retains the time proven facets of this deceptively simple design concept but applies the very latest manufacturing techniques and new acoustic concepts to achieve new levels of performance.

The designs celebrate the phenomenal properties of the Hybrid Shell Structure, a radical concept in cabinet construction that can only be realised with the most advanced materials technologies. The designs also introduce the Semisphere Tweeter, the first Wilson Benesch tweeter that also features hybrid materials technologies in its dome construction to provide an exquisite high frequency sound reproduction with super fast transient response, extended high frequencies and the sweetest, most well controlled sound in the lower registers. Married with the powerful Tactic II drive unit, these new systems are the result of many years of patient work and innovative collaborations. As such, we are confident that they will stand the test of time like only a Wilson Benesch design can.

In part three of this series of Geometry Series Launch reports, Wilson Benesch Design Director Craig Milnes and Technical Design Manager Chris Ward will provide an insight into the groundbreaking technologies that feature in the Geometry Series.

We hope that you will also enjoy the second timelapse video that captured the UK Launch event at the Bristol Sound & Vision Show. We look forward to repeating this exercise at launches across the world during the course of 2011. Further announcements regarding these events will be made shortly.
